I’ve Always Been More Interested In What Music Does To A Room.
A great DJ isn’t there simply to work through a list of songs. The interesting part is what happens between the tracks: watching a room change, seeing people move closer to the dancefloor and recognising the moment when the night is ready to go somewhere else.
One track can bring three generations together. Another can turn a half-empty dancefloor into the centre of the party. Sometimes the best decision is not playing the obvious song yet and giving the room another ten minutes to get there.
That’s the side of DJing I love. Reading people, building energy naturally and helping create those moments where everyone stops thinking about the event and simply starts enjoying it.

No. I’ll use the microphone when the event needs it, but I don’t believe in unnecessary shouting, forced interaction or making the night about the DJ.
